Who We Are?
The Board of Directors of the Vancouver Island Opera (VIO) provide financial, production, marketing and promotional knowledge in volunteer capacities.
Hugh Sinnott
Hugh Sinnott has performed in each of VIO's productions. Hugh is a local businessman with many years of experience on the stage, including thirteen years with Pacific Opera in Victoria.
Karen Stewart
Karen Stewart is in a legal private practice in the area. Karen has been involved in all of VIO's productions in various capacities, including the chorus and in the creation of costumes.
Tatiana Vasilieva
Tatiana Vasilieva is a retired opera singer who has served as producer and artistic director. Tatiana has had a highly successful operatic career encompassing four continents.
Lucille Thompson
Lucille Thompson, a former School District 69 employee, has been involved with the Society for several years. Lucille has an extensive background in accounting and office administration.
Brigitte Stefani
Brigitte Stefani has sung in a variety of venues from the Toronto Opera, the VIO and a various number of choirs. Brigitte has enjoyed singing and entertaining for many years and looks forward to engaging in this new endeavour with the VIO.
Len Mustard
Len Mustard is a retired local entrepreneur and a member of ECHO Players, a prominent local theatrical group. Len's expertise is in the area of advertising, marketing and promotion.
