Producing an Opera from the ground up can be a daunting task. Ticket sales and grants cover only a portion of the costs of orchestral musicians, vocal artists, professional coaches, rental of performance venues, advertising, costumes, tickets, programmes, etc. These all demand considerable financial consideration.

Your gift will play an important role in Vancouver Island Opera's ability to maintain its highest artistic standards. It will be vital for the ongoing success of VIO's unique presentations to audiences located in central Vancouver Island, reaching from Campbell River to Chemainus, including the Pacific Rim and the Islands.

Annual Support

Individual Donations: Support our annual operatic productions and classical recital series with financial donations.

Corporate Sponsorships: Corporate support provides a unique opportunity to combine opera with marketing, promotional and entertainment benefits.

Donors - $3,500 and over
Contributors - $2,000 and over
Supporters - $1,000 and over
Devotees - $500 and over
Patrons - $100 and over
Friends - $50 and over

As a non-profit registered society, all donations are tax deductible. You will be recognized in our programmes and in our publicity. Financial statements will be provided upon request.

Support of this initiative will make it possible for the glorious, thrilling and memorable sounds of opera and classical music to ring throughout the halls, schools and seniors' residences of Oceanside communities.

Volunteering

Volunteering a gift of time and expertise will make an important contribution to our opera company's continued viability. We welcome anyone who would like to offer their time to assist with publicity, fund raising, production (stage hands, costumes, set and props) correspondence, and Board work.
